In English we are reading the book The Circuit. I picked the
character Torito because I think he will become one of the main
characters in the story. However he lives in El Rancho Blanco in
Guadalajara Mexico. We have read that he is part of a poor family who lives in
poor conditions, and has the American dream, getting to California. His parents
think that if they get to California they will have a better life and
education. However, they pay a woman so she can take them to California and so
that she will find them a job soon.
